To Those Who Think They Have All The Answers

September 15th 2007 18:57
Theres a certain something that all the worst people in history have in common. The inability to feel remorse or accountability for the most evil of actions.

It isn't so simple as 'he has no conscience'. Everyone has a conscience, everyone has a basic grasp of the differences between right and wrong, its been hardwired into our heads after thousands of years of natural evolution.

The double standards and narrowmindedness of these poeple may often be the result of a very narrow upbringing, they may claim to understand the difference between right and wrong though they twist their own understanding of it far enough that they are immunte to ever doing or even thinking wrong. In its simplest you could say they have no conscience because the one they listen to never makes them feel guilty, only more sure of themselves.

Such people, its what dicators are made of, people like Hitler or Stalin, they embodied the same core ideas, that being right is all they could be and that the enemy was everyone but themselves.

Thats how you can kill millions of people with no regret or feeling of remorse, by displacing all feelings of guilt and accountablity to a fairy tale of excuses. Thats what Hitler used to justify doing what he did. People like this don't need proof or reasoning much less logic, all they needs is an entity to which they can load all her feelings of guilt and accountability to. Create a scapegoat and pursue it, gain everything desired in the process, be it money or power or anything else.

Good points, and I would add one more....the worst people need one more thing-enablers...without those willing to go along, or to look the other way, the beasts don't gain the mantle of leader. In the America of today, those enabling the Bush madness are the evangelical right, who see him as a modern day prophet or godsend.

Thank goodness Bush's term is almost out. In the America that has always been, no one can run the country for more than two terms.

President Franklin Roosevelt served from 1933 to 1945, he wasn't particularly friendly to big time business people (pretty much the opposite of modern politics eh?

Actually certain people (one of which was George W Bush's gramps, then banker and financier of the Nazi party) were even planning on bringing down the US government he was heading up.

Some of the companies who actually had a hand in this conspiracy:

U.S. Steel, General Motors, General Foods, Standard Oil, Birdseye, Colgate, Heinz Foods, Chase National Bank, and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company

Ahmed,

A good observation of history... only supported by the old saying;

Evil arises, when good men do nothing...

We must guard against the idle mind of mindless gaming too perhaps?
