This is How Stupidly Superficial Society Is and Don't Dare Tell me I'm Wrong

There has been breaking news coming out of Chicago this morning. Police have found the 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban that they were looking for in connection to the search for Jennifer Hudson’s nephew, Julian. There was also a body of a boy found inside the vehicle. It hasn’t been confirmed that it is Jennifer’s nephew, but the boy is said to be around the same age as Julian.
All we can do is keep praying that the body isn’t Julian and that he’s still out there alive.

Can you tell me what's wrong with this? Let me help you, it has something to do with this line: "All we can do is keep praying that the body isn’t Julian and that he’s still out there alive."
Let me reemphasize this point here: "There was also a body of a boy found inside the vehicle".
Still not sure? Well OK, how about I put it like this: So it's OK to 'pray' the body of the boy is not related to a celebrity because why? If he isn't related to a celebrity it makes it alright that he is dead, probably murdered?
Does it make it alright? No.
But it's just how people are, all the 'my heart goes out to their family', the 'I was so worried about them', the 'I pray for their safety' boils down to this: will anyone give a damn about me for being all thoughtful to these strangers?
