Stranger Than Fiction: Georgian Police Resemble Oppresive Force From Videogame

Half-Life 2 depicts a dystopian future where an alien force has invaded earth for unspecified reasons. Politically earth has 'surrendered' thanks to the negotiations of a greedy 'I wanna more power' type of guy who is now the leader, or as he calls himself, a representetive, of the planet. He sets up a special task force known as the 'combine', which are in effect riot police, to keep earths citizens under control.

Now that Georgia (not the state you dopes!) is under marshall law and playing for a nice 'what if' case study for the United States we find that maybe the aliens have landed...
