Saddam 2.0? No Thanks.

Saddam might have been a tyrannical dictator, he might have killed many innocent lives but he was nothing compared to George Bush brand incompetance mixed with extremist religous groups (funded by the US, as was Saddam back in the day).
The US military is arming these militants, training them to fire guns and giving them body armour. It seems that the number of Iraqi troops is more important than anything else. Whats the poitn of creating an army or police force if its going to be defending only one religous group and attack everyone else, be it Sunnis, Kurds or Americans.
What kind of inane reality are we living in? Its like George Bush is sending a letter to whoever the helll it is running the show in Iraq and saying 'I want there to be 1000 more Iraqi police by such and such date'. From the pressure the dude just goes and gets 1000 Iraqis, who just happen to be part of the same extremist religous group, and give them weapons and say 'there you go Mr. Bush, hope that helps your ratings'.
It's time for George Bush and his mates to forget trying to establish a government like Saddams, they got rid of Saddam now the country will never go back there. The only way theres going to be peace is if the US government acts selflessly, that is, act in a way that will not give the US any gain out of this war as it was set out originally (for oil, control over the land, etc).
How hard can it be? Cut the police force, cut the milita, stop paying these people and arming them. Establish a real martial law, then start from the top. Disarm every house and home of weapons, relocate faction elitists to various parts of the country so that they are isolated from each other. Create borders, patrol the borders and leave it at that.
Its the only way. Whats happening now is piss weak excuses, trying to establish a US friendly government is proving useless. Deal with it. Divide up the country, let each side form anti-US governments but just make sure they are seperated from each other.
There won't be anything for the US to gain from this, but at least 'liberating the Iraqi people' can mean something.
