My Day as a Bigot

So I decided to play the role of a bigot for one day, but not just any bigot, the ultimate bigot of the world. The kind of bigot who hates anything and everything and who can never be wrong. Well it's interesting, because after less than an hour I've gotten tired of the hate.
From my time of hating I've learned that all Germans are incestuous paedophiles, that Iranians have sex with goats, that Hindus burn their daughters alive, that Muslims choke them to death, that Americans are blood thirsty murdering war mongering incestuous drug taking drug dealing empire building genocidel homicidal suicidal maniacs who have no heart much less a conscience aaaand a bunch of other things that I don't want to mention here. Hell, I haven’t even started!
So where did I get my info from? Well apparently there's a state funded pamphlet making the rounds in Germany encouraging parents to engage in sexual activities with their three year old kids, then there's that whole Hindu nut burning down her pregnant daughters house while she was still in it because of some sort of rule involving social standards in a far off backwards culture that seldom exists anymore, then the whole Muslim choking kid to death thing makes its rounds every so often. As for the American one, well it seems the media is particularly adept at portraying the lowest of Americans, so much so that people have simply become desensitized to it, 'oh an American just poured acid down some other Americans throat?', it sure doesn’t hit as hard as 'immigrant man kills American'.
We live in a crazy world, some of us can extend the benefit of the doubt to others and acknowledge one persons action does not make another guilty by association while some of us hate beyond all reason and hate for no reason other than pride. Yet I've found the majority of people simply don't care. I hate that, I envy that actually, because I'm working to build a world where people simply 'don't care' about pushing their own little political agendas based on whatever is happening yet I know such a world will never exist in my lifetime, and here we have these people, the vast majority of people, who simply don't care. As much as I'd like to expand on the topic, I'll leave this discussion for another day.
