Diggs Hypocrisy
June 14th 2007 13:57
Digg is largely supportive of Ron Paul for his anti-war stance, though they ignore his past anti-gay, anti-public healthcare, pro-religion, pro-life ideals. This is particularly evident with one Digg submission that has recieved over 3000 diggs giving a spectacular example of just how a private health system does not work.
Perhaps Ron Pauls iron clad opposition to the Iraq war has a lot to do with it, compared to Barrack Obamas passive support to leave Iraq. Therein lies the problem, in politics you can't have your cake and eat it too, for those of you at a loss to what I mean, you can't invision the perfect candidate and vote for him too, he doesn't exist.
Technically, on an Apples to Apples level Barrack Obama and Ron Paul are virtually equal in terms of pros and cons, yet Ron Pauls iron clad opposition to the Iraq war seems to make it completely ok that he has a history of discrimination against homosexuals, is against public healthcare and he is very pro religious.
I guess we gotta get out of Iraq, then worry about healthcare.
