12 Year Old Boy Should be Denied Healthcare According to Some

October 17th 2007 03:01
Dirt Slinging
This Boy and Many Others Like Him, Could Very Well Die Without THe Support of The Government. Yet the so-called 'pro-life' George Bush (and others) Refuse To Provide the Care For Such Children
Now in a saner world those who argue 'pro-life' would follow through their opinions and not go all out trying to keep a 12 year old boy from recieving life saving healthcare. Too bad this isn't a sane world, no, this is a hypocritical world were the same people who claim 'right to life' are slinging dirt at this 12 year old boy for 'leaching' off the countries healthcare.

But while the Frosts were helping a bipartisan majority in Congress sell a plan to expand the program, they were not prepared for comments such as this one, posted over the weekend on the conservative Web site Redstate:

"If federal funds were required [they] could die for all I care. Let the parents get second jobs, let their state foot the bill or let them seek help from private charities. ... I would hire a team of PIs and find out exactly how much their parents made and where they spent every nickel. Then I'd do everything possible to destroy their lives with that info."

At issue is the proposal to expand the State Children's Health Insurance Program - also known as SCHIP - which provides coverage for 6.6 million children from families not poor enough to qualify for Medicaid. Democrats, joined by some Republicans, voted last month to expand coverage to 4 million more children at a cost of $35 billion over five years. Bush has vetoed the bill.

There very little I can say about this post except that only you have link the the 'Pro Life' cause to this case.

Had you been familiiar with any 'Prolife' or 'Right to Life' you would find that Euthenasia by neglect is an aenathema.

The problem is you were such a hurry to slag off the republicans that you did not research the subject at all.

They're trying to keep the boy alive but the same people who claim to be 'pro-life' are accusing the parents of leaching off tax payers money to do so.

Repeating the same logical error will not make it work.
It is redneck tactic that is in the same class as blaming anyone who does not support GWB as supporting terrorism.
I would thought that you would know better than to stoop to such tactics.
